Parish Walk 2008
Delabole website wishes to thank Rod Keat ot the St Teath website for this photographic record of the Parish Walk
Despite rain and mist hanging over Delabole, about 25 people and several dogs arrived for the Parish Walk on Sunday 4 May. Many thanks to Gill and Eddie Jones for planning and reconnoitering the route and Hester Warman and Jen Tidd for refreshments at the end of a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Walkers appear out of the mist - we set out across the quarry,Kevin sets the pace.

Our route took us across the quarry and into these bluebell laden woods.

Fun for dogs here - in and out of the river.

Now up the track from Helland Farm back into the mist again.

Are those gravestones appearing out of the mist?

Resting at the cemetery gates after the climb

On to Cleave's Corner and into Treligga Downs Road.

Into Green Lane, a track to the NW side of Western Supplies yard and the first of many stiles.

Still in Green Lane. John Lobb kindly rolled lane to make it easier going.

Emerging onto the road at Horniwink (Trebarwith Road)

Passing Lobb's Farm at Rockhead

Across several fields to the bottom of Medrose at 'Teddy Piece' and now on the old railway trackbed

Setting out to circle the quarry pit - Clark's Hole side - Mist beginning to clear

Views of Delabole across the quarry pit.

Almost done - back to quarry buildings

Excellent - and most welcome refreshments by Hester Warman and Jen Tidd
